In celebration of International Women’s Day on March 8th, Micuna took the initiative to honour all the women employees of the company with a fun and unexpected photo shoot in which women were the protagonists. Outdoor areas and work areas of the factory became makeshift studios to celebrate and commemorate the special day.
At the end of 2014 launched a plan of equal opportunities between women and men. With this plan the company strengthens its commitment and strengthens the inner workings of the principles and values of equality applied in their daily activities.
Among the most important measures taken by Micuna over the past few years is the strengthening of family values. Micuna supports the reduction of working hours to care for children under 7 years and can adapt working hours to harmonize work and family life.
With the implementation of this plan, Micuna is committed to using all processes of promotion and professional development based on the principles of merit, ability and job matching, evaluating the candidates on the basis of suitability without discriminating sex and ensuring that each job or position of responsibility is occupied by the most suitable candidate or candidate.
