Under the values of Marca España, four companies of the Spanish sector of children’s products (ALONDRA, BARCAROLA, BOLÍN BOLÓN and MICUNA) have taken part in a trade mission at the end of March 2012, with the support of the Spanish Commercial Office in Kiev ICEX and ASEPRI.At this occasion, they have presented their new collection for the next season in order to establish new trade agreements with distributors and realize market research.
In 2010, the Spanish sector of products for children has doubled the number of Spanish companies in Ukraine and it has multiplied its turnover by five in this market.
Spanish Children’s fashion and childcare companies confirm their commitment to the markets of Eastern Europe, increasing by 246% their presence in Russia and by over 50% in Ukraine, the Czech Republic and Poland.
It is also important to highlight that in 2010, the volume of sales of Spanish children’s fashion and childcare products in Russia, Czech Republic, Poland and Ukraine represented 6.70% of the total export turnover of the Spanish companies of the sector, with a total turnover exceeding 22 million euros – 39% more than in 2009.
