An original path of lights inspired by the summer illuminated the fashion-show-event the luxury brand for kids, Il Gufo, this year too, has staged for the opening of the 73rd edition of Pitti Immagine Bimbo.
The night of 23rd June 2011 has transformed the 16th Century villa Le Corti, laying on the hills of Chianti, into an exceptional location where more than 400 brand guests have attended the presentation of the new Il Gufo proposals for next Spring/Summer 2012.
The catwalk irradiated by lighting rays has seen little models, protagonists of the night, who playfully interpreted the marinière theme characterising the new collection. Fresh and joyful proposals, in perfect navy style, made with light and comfortable fabrics, horizontal striped patterns and rope details, ranging in all blue shades, and made precious by lively bright red forays, with touches of sun yellow and grass green for him and dark pink for her, completed by the range of neutral colours, like the modern but always elegant teak brown. The fil-rouge of the whole collection was light and impalpable fabrics as silk, linen and cotton, which prefer cold dyeing for unusual chromatic effects.
Light projections and original dance exhibitions have then characterised the court where the dinner was served, with a jazz and soul music background played by Smoma trio, while white and silver flashes lighted the romantic Italian garden surrounding the villa, for an event marked by an elegant but modern style which has always distinguished the brand of ‘babies wearing baby clothes’.
